Do yourself a favor, get 1 from the grocery store and compare the taste, you'll probably be surprised.
Bought 2 cases in 2 different occasions. I thought they were ok but not great until a friend came to my house, drank it, and told me it tasted funny. I didn't take it to heart until he bought a case for me from Costo a few weeks later. The same exact product but the ones he got me from costo taste very different. The ones from Costco have a refreshing sweet taste. Now I understand what he meant by the ones from Amazon taste funny -- simpley like cooked sugarcane juice - a little stale but cooked sugarcane juice is not too bad if you don't know how good coconut juice supposed to taste like, right? Anyone of you bought this from Amazon should try to find a bottom from the grocery store or Costco for comparison. If you never had a good one, you won't know what is bad. I was happy with it before I get to tried ones from Costco and that's why I even bought a second case. Now, I have reason to suspect the 2 cases I bought, a month apart between the 2 cases, were both expired or maybe bootlegged. Since we already finished (yuck, how we do it?) from Amazon and threw away the containers, I have no way of know if they were expired or bootlegged (or perhaps not stored properly). I do remember the color of the ones from Amazon being darker than those from Costco although the box and packaging are identical. I don't remember if it's as dark as the picture shown by another reviewer "Tron" but it's definitely darker compare to Costco. I regret not taking his review serviously.
