Another device ruined by over-zealous safety precautions
Like everything else, this now has a safety mechanism that makes usability sacrificed. The main problem with it is that it leaves about 3" of tape dangling from it after every use which inevitably gets fouled up and wasted. I suspect this is by design so you buy more tape. Stick with the old-style dispensers that clumsy people risk getting minor cuts from when used improperly.
