DEALFISHER: You may want to avoid this seller
Very disappointed. Be careful if the seller is DEALFISHER. I purchased this as an upgrade from my girlfriend and when it arrived, she was very excited. Then I looked it over and tested it and found it was NOT a T-mobile phone and had to be sent returned. She was not happy.
What was sent to me was a Samsung Galaxy S7, but instead of it being a T-mobile phone (G930T), it was an unlocked Sprint phone (G930P) in a box marked as a T-mobile phone...and it wasn't hard to tell at all. The part number was listed on the back of the phone as G930P; the Model listed in the settings was G930U (for unlocked); and when the phone booted, there was no T-mobile branding.
T-mobile supports wifi calling, but only on their phones (G930T). We have relatives that live in rural areas that do not have good signal, so wifi calling is pretty important for us. Besides that, I have also read online that while Spring phones can be used on T-Mobile's network, they may not be able to fully utilize the data speed. I did confirm both of these features with a T-Mobile representative at a store as well.
And to add to the disappointment, I contacted DEALFISHER by email to try and find out if this was a fluke or not. I still wanted a gold Galaxy S7 and wanted to know if I ordered another phone from them after returning the first one if I would get a proper T-Mobile phone or if there was any chance of receiving another Spring phone. We exchanged nine (9) emails and I asked that question three times. They were very polite through the entire exchange, but they all but ignored the question.
That leaves me to believe that DEALFISHER is passing off Unlocked Sprint phones as T-mobile phones and hoping customers do not realize. I suggest going with another seller .
