We purchased this because our 4 month old was having trouble sleeping. She had a really good startle reflex. While this did work decent to get her to sleep within a couple uses we noticed if she moved around it would bunch the material up in her face. We did pick the proper size for her length and weight and it would still bunch up around her mouth and nose. We specifically wanted this because the material was easier to wash and dry ca the other sleep suit we had. Unfortunately we will be returning this. If you do buy this keep an eye on your child to make sure the excess material doesn't bunch up into their mouth/nose area. For kids with more head control that wouldn't be a worry but in general we avoid anything that could potentially restrict air flow.
