While researching how cat waste interacts with average household liter, I came across a simple cost-effective alternative that surprisingly exceeded my expectations: baking soda. Mix baking soda with litter, add more than the tablespoon that is suggested. It’s consistently worked, even with different litter brands. I can no longer tell when my cats use the litterbox, even in my tiny apartment. In all of the years that I've tried different products, baking soda is by far the best one. This product - Nature's Miracle - is unnecessary, has a strong perfume odor, and is far more costly. I do have to admit though, the Nature's Miracle people are very clever because they've managed to dupe millions into thinking their product is necessary and effective.
