As others say, Pretends to Be Belkin
I could have bought a cheap china cable for $3. I chose to buy the Belkin version for $21 so I could be sure it would work and work forever.
I paid the $21 but got the cheap china one instead. This is no accident by the retailer, they are clearly pretending through the ad to be Belkin.
As another reviewer says, it's in silver/clear packaging just like an apple store product, doesn't have that embossed HDMI you see on the picture here, and is surely not a belkin product.
Amazon needs to punish this type of retailer for this behavior -- there's no way my mom or the average non-techie would realize they are being bait and switched, and then get pissed at Belkin in 3 months when it stops working.
It's fine to sell $3 adapters, I will buy them sometimes knowing I might have to replace, but this is bad behavior. Boo. See other one-star review for same experience.
