Exactly as advertised. **UPDATE**
I was afraid of purchasing glass from a 3rd party source, especially with how expensive the glass runs. The price here almost seems too good to be true. But the glass came in exactly as advertised and worked perfectly! This is NOT something you should replace yourself unless you know cell phones. Many of these reviews are negative because they thought they could do the replacing themselves. This is not the case, the edge is just too complicated to take apart. The glass is fine, take it to a professional to replace.
**UPDATE 1**
After calling various phone stores around my area and taking the kit in to repair shops, I returned the glass. Initially the phone repairmen said they could use this glass and replace my screen to avoid the glass fee, but after a close look at the glass no where would take it. This is legitimate glass, and the adhesive seems to be legitimate, but separating the glass from the LCD display is hard, nearly impossible. This glass is legitimate and as advertised, I would suggest sending the link to this product to whoever will be repairing your phone, and get their opinion on it. You might be able to find a repairman who can make it work. Worst case, you just return the glass.
**UPDATE 2**
If you are reading this looking for a way to get your glass repaired, there is no easy or extremely cheap way to get this done. Replacing the glass on the s7 edge is practically impossible unless you are a PROFESSIONAL. Search on Youtube video's of the glass being replaced, you will probably find that you would be in way over your head. My suggestion to anyone with a cracked screen is to simply get it replaced by Samsung, or keep it cracked.
My story is this: My s7 Edge was knocked out of my hand about 8 months ago, and I never got my phone fixed. I purchased this glass in hopes of taking it to a phone repair store and saving myself a ton of money by providing the glass, instead of paying nearly $350 for a repair store to do it(yes, that is how much it will cost). But the problem with this glass is simple: using it is TOO RISKY. As of 2 months ago, a pink line showed up on my screen, one faint, tiny line. Over the past 2 months, the line has grown to be about 10 or 15 lines combined, and is extremely thick, and makes it impossible to read the time on my phone. So I called Samsung, as well as other places, to see how much it would be to get my phone fixed, because now, my LCD is completely failing. My screen will randomly shut off and not come back on for hours at a time. Samsung will fix a cracked screen (front crack and back of phone crack) for a total of $270. Much cheaper than any place you will be able to find locally. I called multiple places, and one store in particular turned me down because they were out of parts. The man told me that the previous screens they were using were causing pink lines to form, which is the problem I am trying to get fixed. The s7 edge is a very nice phone, and a very expensive one. This glass is risky business, replacing it is risky business, especially if your phone is cracked, therefore, out of Samsung's warranty. I suggest calling Samsung and just take the financial hit.
