Unfortunately this solar charger doesn't work at all. It's properly connected and in good sunlight but isn't charging my ring 2. I searched for solutions online and found a lot of folks having the same problem with no solutions In the process of getting a replacement solar charger. My hope is that I simply got a defective unit. I will update this review once I try the replacement. ****UPDATE**** I received the second solar charger which doesn't work either. I went so far as to remove it from the wall and put it in the hood of my vehicle out in my driveway giving it the most direct sunlight humanly possible but it still won't charge my ring at all. My ring 2 charges fine using the corded plugin charger. ****UPDATE 2******** I just spoke with Ring tech again and since you is my second charger that isn't working they said it may be my doorbell so they are sending me a new doorbell. I will update again if that resolves the issue.
