Good idea -- bad implementation
I liked the idea of this product to organize my batteries. The included battery tester was also a nice plus (and the only real value I was able to salvage from it). I also like the idea that it's wall-mountable. Most of the batteries fit nicely in it except for the AA batteries, which were of course the ones that I had the most of. About half of the AA battery spots were too tight, regardless of whether I tried to use rechargeable or standard alkaline AA batteries in the spots. If I pressed really hard, I could get a battery into most spots, but then couldn't get them out without using pliers. This was especially true once most of the spots were filled. It seems the "dividers" in this area move a bit as you insert the AA batteries which makes the surrounding AA holes smaller and unable to be used. In particular, the outside AA spots were nearly unusable even without any other batteries inserted (as they had the least "flex"). All the other types of batteries fit easily in their spots (AAA, C, D, 9V). I thought perhaps I could "Dremel" out the AA spots with a sanding bit but it didn't work -- they were simply too tight and would have required a lot of sanding to get to the point where the AAs would fit in about half of the spots. So ultimately I paid $11 for a battery tester and threw out the battery holder. Even if I hadn't tried to modify it, it wouldn't be worth paying the $6 to ship it back.
