Deeply disappointing! This specific package is listed as having the 3-Stage Filter. That means it's supposed to have the top-of-the-line filter instead of the more meagre 2-Stage Filter. Having been a PUR customer of decades, I know the difference simply be tasting the resulting water. What came with this package is NOT the 3-Stage Filter, at least none I've ever received from PUR! This filter is nothing better than the meagre 2-Stage Filter. Short of cracking open the filter, I could immediately tell when I put the faucet system together that the filter in the box was too light to be the 3-Stage filter. The resulting water is NOT the fresh, long lasting quality water from the 3-Stage filters I've used in the past. The water also goes STALE very rapidly, not unlike ordinary tap water from the sink. That's NOT WHAT I PAID FOR! Until such time as the new owners of PUR can verify exactly what they've put in this package, I highly recommend NOT using the cheap, meagre filter in the box. Get a verified, for real, 3-Stage filter sold separately. As for Amazon, I highly recommend they REMOVE the title for this package stating it included a 3-Stage Filter. From my testing, it most definitely does NOT!
