Does not charge non-Apple phones above 0.5 amps. The USB charging spec requires dedicated chargers to tie the two data lines together to signal the phone that it is OK to charge at a higher rate. This charger does not do that. For just a little more money, the Anker 24 W dual charger does connect the data lines together and charges Windows and Android phones at the faster rate (1.5 A or more, depending on the phone). The Onite 28.5 W dual charger also works properly, but cost a bit more because it also supports the Qualcomm Quick Charge protocol (even faster charging on phones that support it). So this charger will charge your phone, but at rates much slower that what they seem to be advertising.
