I couldn't finish this one. Now I really liked the storyline, and Lucifer, well he was definitely a yummy selling point, but the real issue here was the fmc evie. She wakes up in a bed of another man (Lucifer) the night before her wedding to a man named adam who is her fiance. Now this is where I began to struggle because she keeps on and on blaming him for what she has done? It's his fault she slept with him, he must have drugged her! He must have hypnotized her! he planted the memories of them together in her mind! I read up to about 33% and not once does she take responsibility for herself or her actions. No, her logical response for having a lapse in judgment or even changing her mind or a change of heart was this evil man who has drugged her and took 100% advantage of her because she was nothing but innocence and an angel and was just so perfect this wasn't on her. Evie is a piece of work, and I hated her every time she open her freaking mouth. Wish this was better.
