Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

So I decided to buy this vacuum after reading several really good reviews on Amazon. I was very exited to get a shiny new vacuum cleaner as my old one finally bit the dust after about four years of service. My Bissell1831 arrived and it was quite easy to set up, the accessories easily attached and just a few screws and it was ready to go. I plugged it in and got started. I did not even finish one room when I noticed a funky smell of burning plastic coming from this thing. So I switched it off flipped it over and prepared to remove a fur ball or something, only to find that the brush itself had melted to the inner side wall of the vacuum and the whole thing has seized. Needless to say I am extremely unhappy, my house smells like burnt plastic, and my brand new vacuum cleaner is useless. I am about to attempt to contact customer service, and will try to report back with the outcome. In the meantime, I’d recommend choosing a different vacuum, this one is clearly not worth the trouble.
