As other reviewers have said, the smell is extremely difficult to cope with. I followed the instructions and used the special rinse included with the machine, but even after washing numerous times the odor from my mask and hose is so overpowering as to seem almost toxic. I tried to sleep with it but it's so bad that it wakes me up at night. It took over a week of airing out before I could wear my mask again, the one I had used with SoClean.
