Champion 3800-Watt Dual Fuel RV Ready Portable Generator with Electric StartI will be trying to recover my investment on this. I was excited to try this generator for powering a trailer. I received it on August 9, 2018. I took it out and started it for the first time on September 11. I purchased it specifically for power while dry camping for business. It started fairly easily and seemed quite efficient on the fuel. However, it's noise output was unbearable and not just for me. MANY, MANY folks in the area complained about the noise and loudly cheered when it was shut down. We were pariahs in the campground AND we were trying to conduct business. Embarrassing doesn't come close. Our neighbors showed us the generator was generating NOT 68 DBA, as advertised, but between 77 & 80 dba, and probably more when not being monitored. We felt like pariahs or lepers and were clearly interrupting everyone else's otherwise good time. We shut it off, packed up and left since we couldn't charge our batteries and devices any longer, and since our business wasn't destined for success in that location.
