The wallet itself is solidly built from machined aluminum. Craftsmanship is good, although I did have to file down the edges since they were all very sharp and unfinished. That sucks, but it's definitely something that was easy to rectify. The issue is that it does ~not~ block RFID readers from snatching data off NFC cards inside the wallet. I had an unknown charge show up on one of the cards I had in this wallet last night. After canceling the card, ordering another, and disputing the charge, I tested the wallet against my SQUARE contactless card reader and it read the card right through the aluminum from both directions. I had the card sandwiched between four other cards, then moved it to the middle of the wallet with all four cards and the wallet's aluminum slab between the NFC card and the reader and it still read it without hesitation. In all, this is a decent minimalist wallet that can also open bottles if that's what you're looking for, but it does ~NOT~ protect you from NFC card skimming.
