My only complaint is that the power cord is extremely short, it limits where you can place the cameras. The cameras were easy to connect to phone app. The camera mounts are very short as well. Two of the camera mounts, I replaced with uniden camera mounts in order to get the angle I needed. Every blue moon, the cameras will disconnect and go offline for no apparent reason, but they eventually reconnect. The longest they've went offline has been about 6 hours. I have a back-up uniden system, but I can see how this would be a problem if this is your only system. The video quality is excellent in my opinion from the app, especially during the day. The night vision is ok with moderate lighting. I would suggest this as a decent surveillance system and would purchase again. Update: I've subtracted a star. For some unexplained reason, one or more cameras will go offline and stay offline until I unplug it and restart it. The recorded video isn't as clear as my uniden system and the motion detection is about 75% in my opinion. I still think it's an ok starter system only because of the phone app. I STILL say the cameras need longer power cords. The length of these things are a joke. 2nd Update: This system is complete garbage. For no reason, one of the cameras stopped connecting to wifi, it would just blink blue. Contacted Zmodo Support.....useless. Ended up returning the whole system while I still could. Save your time & money and pass over this system.
