I am still shaking my head as to how this book is so well reviewed. It’s more like the outline for a book...little to no character development and the plot and subplots are so thin as to be nonexistent. And if you actually enjoy the “detective” aspect of police investigations, you need to find another author. There so so many barely connected, unbelievable events that I was constantly shaking my head....gang rapes via Roofie, dismembered bodies, interracial family, major Country music star in “instalove” with our hero, who is managing 3 children while investigating multiple murders of highly visible people, including his missing wife. WTF!!! I’m begging you, save those hours of your life.
