These patties use high fructose corn syrup as their sweetener which is VERY BAD FOR BEES! Shame on you Mann Lake! At the very least they should list the ingredients on the product description. I’ll be taking my business to more reputable bee suppliers. Also ... to new beekeepers ... these patties are very soft which makes a fabulous breeding ground for hive beetles. If you live in an area that gets a lot of hive beetles find a firmer, more hard candy-like patty, or make them yourself. Once the beetles set up nesting in your soft patties they’re in your hives for a LONG time!
