This was an emergency buy during the height of the pandemic, so my first complaint is that is was super expensive. It will not print if you need a Windows update, at all. So you have to stop what you were in the process of doing, download then restart, so freaking annoying. It's slow, and loud. The instant ink is a joke -- I'm not paying by the page, that's why I bought a printer, whose bright idea was that, way to milk it HP. There are no 3rd market cartridges yet, so ink is expensive. It is huge, don't rest your paperwork on top of the scanner as it will make annoying noises until you remove them. Not pleased with the scanning software at all. Overall it feels as though it will break soon as most of the components seem to be made of cheap plastic. The print quality is okay, but not amazing for all the hoops you have to jump through just to print a page. Imagine having to do a quick print, then spending 30 minutes wondering why your printer won't work again at least once a week. It's maddening. I will never purchase another HP product, that's how much I hate this printer, they are on the list.
