There are a few people here who made statements like "the red glass looks pretty". Well its not red glass. It is CLEAR GLASS with a cheap cellophane type red coating. The coating will start to come off almost immediately. Like when you pull the price tag off. yes that immediate. Then as you clean it with soap and water and bleach the cellophane like coating will comes off in sheets. Then you will have a half clear and half red hummingbird feeder that will not look so pretty. If the manufacturer made this thing out red glass I would change my review to 5 stars. Seeing is believing...have a look at my posted picture
