Want to start off by saying this product WAS worthy of 5 stars, however I’ll tell you the bad news first... it’s come time for me to order a new filter ($35) and upon switching it out, there is nearly no suction. This led me to believe I somehow installed a “drop-in” filter incorrectly, I reviewed the instructions and everything was done to manufacturer spec. For whatever reason, after literally buying a new OEM Levoit filter, my air purifier now sucks at sucking air. Making it effectively a useless energy drawing paper weight. Now for the cool stuff. Design is nice, materials are however by no means premium, this thing is entirely made of a plastic ABS material. I thought it was maybe an aluminum sheet metal by the product photos but that is not the case. From a few feet though you don’t really notice the plastic look this thing gives off. Does a decent job at sucking up animal hair, however, since this thing has holes on the outside rather than designed with slits, it builds up a lot of animal hair on the outside which requires constant cleaning. I purchased this back in March 2020, had to already purchase a new filter in May 2020, and now will have to purchase a new air purifier in May 2020 to replace this.
