Update: After having the case for less than 5 months, it was finally so bad that I actually contacted Otterbox about a warranty replacement. After waiting a long time for a reply, I was contacted and told that sure, they'll replace it, if I pay an exorbitant amount in "shipping and handling" to have the new one sent out. Clearly OtterBox is not the same consumer-focused business that it used to be. I will no longer be shopping their brand out of loyalty. For the record, I have in the past purchased cases for iPhones 2-5, two different iPads, and now this one for the X. I'm not just some customer who bought one thing and didn't like it and tried to complain to get something for free. 30-day review: This case is the first otterbox product I’ve ever not been happy with. It was fine at first, other than the button covers, which are so overly thick and stiff you have to squeeze the entire phone to change the volume. Now, the outer rubber is starting to separate from the inner plastic shell so it squeaks and squishes with every button press. I would return this if it hadn’t been too late, and I don’t really want another one, even for free, to replace it. Very disappointed in Otterbox with this one.
