I've had 4 Lifeproof cases, always extremely satisfied with all of them, in fact I have a business iPhone 5S with one on right now that I love. I've dealt with customer service and gotten a few warrantied cases free also, which is great. That being said, this iPhone 6 case seems like a step backwards from the quality we have come to expect from Lifeproof. The basic Lifeproof concepts are there, but the follow through on the details are not. The worst part is I don't know where I'll find a slim waterproof case that will hold up to everything I want it to. I'm thinking about taking a risk on a non waterproof case that functions better for day to day use. Pros: -Waterproof -Fairly slim form factor for an iphone case (much better than the thick Otterbox defender). Cons: -Mute/Vibrate Switch doesn't work, and feels like it might damage the phone switch if you push harder on it. Deal breaker. -The lightning port cover feels thin, cheap, and flimsy. I don't know how long this one will last, the old ones were tougher. -The built in screen protector distorts the screen fairly bad, it creates rainbow colors. If great screen quality is important to you, don't buy this. -The touch ID becomes about 50% reliable with this case on, my iPhone 5S lifeproof case seems to work better. I'm hoping Lifeproof comes out with a revision that fixes these issues. In the mean time I won't be spending $80 dollars on cases that do not live up to the huge cost increase they demand. Maybe the Nuud will be better.
