Screen Protectors are RADIOACTIVE!!!
I'm not even sure what to think after discovering this, but I initially thought that my iphone 7plus was giving off Ionizing radiation (non-radio wave kind). Obviously, all electronics give off radio-wave radiation but the blue Geiger Counter (pictured) that I used is only for detecting Ionizing radiation- things like uranium, radioactive gas, x-ray, etc... I even turned the iphone completely off to rule out any factors. Upon peeling off the screen protector and resting the meter on it for about 1 minute, my geiger counter went CRAZY and reached 170cpm!!! I thought the counter was broken so I tried it with brand new batteries, tested a few other screen protectors for different phones, and it still peaked 170cpm on these. Just to give you idea, 170cpm is about how much radiation your body absorbs from a Mammogram X-ray!!! Now the exception is that the range of radiation that's coming from this screen protector is about 2 inches so it's not penetrating your body, but I have been touching it with my fingers and putting it against my face when making calls. I rather not risk doing any type of harm to my body so I have immediately removed this screen protector and threw it in the trash. *Note: the box and contents inside didn't give off any type of (unusual) radiation levels, 32cpm is background radiation in a normal environment. CAN WE PLEASE GET NON-RADIOACTIVE SCREEN PROTECTORS?
