Horribly miscast
There is no plot that we noticed; just things happening one after another. The two lead characters are both horribly miscast to the point that it is distracting. Ethel and Fred were both very well cast though. Couldn't finish this movie. This is only the second time in my 44yrs that I've not finished a movie because it was so bad. I'm not a Debra Messing fan, but she should have been cast as Lucy.
