In my case, I'm not eligible because I can get DirecTV here. BUT!! They do a credit check and we didn't pass. They want an extra $267 on top of the regular cost. For those wondering, in the app it costs 49.99/mo. for four months, payable in Amazon Coins. If you ARE eligible, buy your coins ahead of time once you know the total, because amazon offers a discount for large coin purchases (not sure if that's Prime only offer or not, sorry). For example, 100 coins = $1, so for a $200 purchase in-app, you would need 20,000 coins. There are probably taxes etc. too, so wait to buy your coins until you know the actual total.
