This is the second travel mug that I have purchased by Thermos. The first one lasted for years, my husband worked in the construction field and it survived many falls from great heights. So, when the handle finally broke off and the seal gave out, there was no question that I would order him another travel mug because it was so durable. WRONG! I ordered this mug for his Father's Day gift and it is only November and the inner seal is defective. It is washed every single day (just like the last mug) and the other day, a noticeable pungent odor was present. Somehow, liquid was getting under the plastic gasket on the lid and it was moldy. Ugh, so disappointed.
