See my review for the 20x25x1 filter. Basically, this company offers a completely inferior product compared to 3M and Home Depot filters. I sent all of these filters back and replaced them with 3M brand filters. Review of 20x25x1 filter... WARNING!!! This product is garbage. I tested this "MERV 12" filter using a laser particle counter. It removed only about 5% of the particles 0.5 microns and up. The difference in particle counts between the inlet and outlet of the filter were almost zero.. I.E. it wasn't removing hardly any particles. I thought that there may have been a leak so I sealed all the way around the filter to make sure there were no leaks and I got the same results... basically almost zero drop in particle counts between the inlet and the outlet of the system. I replaced this filter with a MERV 11 (lower filtration rating than the Nordic filter) 3M filter and it removed 75% of the particles (0.5 microns and larger) with all other test parameters the same. I repeated this test two years later just to see if Nordic Pure was still ripping off their customers and got the same results using a different type of test. This test also used a laser particle counter. See the attached picture. The 3M filter allowed significantly higher air flow and 10x better filtration. That means Nordic is using very inferior materials to make these filters. Saving money on filters just gets you inferior filtration in this case. I've tested Home Depot and 3M filters and got the expected results every time. This filter was a huge disappointment. I can't imagine how it gets so many good reviews except that most people don't have the means to be able to test the effectiveness of the filter in an objective way.
