GOODBYE AMAZON. No more shopping with you for me.
Dear Amazon,
I know you're a big shot now and don't care about us peons, so I'm going to spend my money elsewhere now. The few thousand I spent with you since xmas will be the last you see from me. it's the friends ( synchroncrud bank) you keep that concerns me. You let me have a nice time attempting to save 5% on my purchases, and it worked for a bit. Then I switched my personal bank and I changed how I paid you and all was great. Then I had a little issue with entering in my new banks routing # not once but twice into synchrocruds website. Third times a charm and everything was dandy again. Or was it?
A month later from that minor issue, I go buy some ear buds and my Purchase gets declined. No biggie, maybe i had an expired card I used on accident. I login Into synchrocruds website to check my account and find it closed. Any information on the accounting page as to why? Nope. I've paid my bills on time, no issues for years. This must be a mistake right?
No it wasn't. I called synchrocrud directly. Sorry sir, You see, if there's an issue on two payments, we consider you a delinquent and close your account no questions asked. No info sent to you either. No phone call. Nada. But it was a simple mistake on my end and I fixed the problem. Sorry, if it was a bank error , we can open it back up. but You need to have your bank draft a letter and fax it to us and we may consider reopening your account. Why believe my statement and payment history.
I say no thanks. Keep your card.
I had an epifony about this whole situation as well. It's time for me to move on and not rely on Amazon for my purchases. It's time to not rely on Amazon period as a company. They don't really give a damn. Seeing all the problems with this bank and Amazons lack of interest shows this to be true,
So Amazon since your friends are no good, and my money is no good, I'll take the hint and shop with others who still care about their customers and want to be helpful when a mistake happens.
Goodbye and thanks for opening my eyes to who you really are.
