I really wanted to adore this bag. Like many other reviewers said, it came with a bit of a fishy smell to it, but just toss a handful of coffee beans in the bottom for a couple of days and it'll smell amazing. Problem solved! But there are more issues from there. This bag is ginormous and isn't exactly constructed to support itself. There are no supports sewn into the center pieces, so the whole center pocket tends to just flop about and get in the way. I usually put a magazine in there just for support. Three or four days into using the bag I noticed that the handles started to come apart. For this price, I didn't assume o was getting a top of the line bag, but I had hoped it would last a little longer. I trimmed the plastic lining pieces and threads that were coming off and I'm pretty sure nobody notices the issue except when I'm out with the bag. The "leather" has a great texture and feel to it and really looks amazing, however the color will fade out on any areas that experience a little more wear and tear. For mine, the corners of the base have turned white. My biggest complaint it the fabric of the inner lining. It's complete and utter crap. I almost want to say that the fabric is brittle or overly dried out.... I first noticed it pulling away from the stitched edges of the outer pockets (which created an issue before I discovered the holes ans my purse suddenly ate my car keys...). Now the entire center pocket and most of the bottom have come apart and are a frayed mess. Things are constantly disappearing between the inner lining and the outer shell and I spend a ridiculous amount of time unloading the purse to get to these items. Let's face it, I've had this bag in use for less than 30 days and it really only goes to work and back with me - there is no reason it should be falling apart like this. My advice is to skip this bag if you're looking for something to use on the regular. This bag just isn't up to it.
