This would be a great product (probably a 4 star) if it wasn't for one very serious problem. Assembly was easy (the handle is a bit flimsy). Power is more than adequate, especially for a cordless. The problem is that this unit uses an auto-feed system for the line instead of a bump feed. More importantly and more accurately, an auto-feed system that does not work somewhere around 3/4 of the time. When you have to stop every few feet and take the spool out to manually pull out more line, it makes this thing almost worthless. I really regret my purchase, and can't recommend it to others because of this one major issue. I found another review on here with the same problem - just wish I'd seen it *before* I bought mine. I worked as a groundskeeper on a golf course for 6 years, and did more weed eating than I'd like to remember. And this is my 2nd electric weed eater to have owned personally. Point being I have a decent idea of how to operate one of these things. I tried different spools because I had bought extra. I tried completely unwinding and rewinding a spool. No luck. I'm going to have to order something else at this point, so my advice to anyone reading this is to just stay away from this particular product.
