This is what my 6 month old ello Cole coffee mug looked like when I tore it apart because it smelled and tasted weird, even after vigorous cleaning. I might suggest that because there is not a way to sufficiently disassemble the top and clean it,that you avoid this product. I am horrified that I've been drinking out of this.
