DO NOT BUY THIS. This is a piece of absolute garbage. After it ran for about 1 minute it started making a loud rattling sound, like a playing card stuck in the spokes of a bicycle. Then I could smell hot plastic, so I turned it off. Unfortunately the warranty period had expired before I even turned it on the first time; shame on me for thinking it would work at all instead of testing it for severe defects immediately. I got curious about what the problem actually was, so I took it apart and found that the electric motor had blackened copper windings and had melted the plastic ties that bound it, leaving them dangling in the path of the spinning bits causing the noise I heard. So basically this system is an electric motor with a fan blade on it wrapped in a filter, and the one moving component broke instantly. Frankly, as an engineer myself I found the design cheap, shoddy, and not at all intended to last. Spend your money elsewhere.
