Not Ready for Prime Time - 1% not worth the hassle
I have a number of issues with the Amazon Local Register payment acceptance system. (in no particular order)
1. Lack of ability to view, edit, or manage my account from my computer.
2. Merchant can only have one tax rate at a time. If I want to change it, I have to put in a new tax rate. PayPal and Square give me a choice of tax rates to choose from.
3. Lack of ability to view, edit, or manage my catalog items from my computer.
4. Square and PayPal deposit automatically, with Amazon, I have to create a schedule.
5. I had to create a new email account before I could use Amazon Payments. When I tried to use my Amazon email, it said that email was used and I had to choose another.
The biggest scariest turnoff for me was when Amazon Local Register Payments wanted to know ALL my private bank logon information and password as well as the answers to all my security questions. Isn't that the greatest thing you ever heard of; put everything a hacker needs to have full access to your bank account on some cloud database.
I want to cancel my account until Amazon fixes all the bugs and feature deficits.

p.s. I guess I should have paid more attention to the reviews on the Amazon site. (and my phone was one that the reader actually worked well on)
