I just got this one and another similar 2.1 speaker unit to use with my kids two computers. I got two different ones cause I was curious to compare two similar units that are the same price. This one is fine for being so inexpensive, but not great by any means. I've had a number of 2.1 computer speaker setups over the years (most of them Logitech) and this is the worst of any I've had. It's very light weight to the point that the two speakers feel like cheap kid toys—I sorta think kid toys generally feel more substantial actually. It is what it is, and that is a cheap 2.1 speaker system. It does it's job and I do like that it has a separate adjustment on the sub for the bass. HOWEVER, the other speakers I bought (Creative A250 2.1 Multimedia Speaker System) for the EXACT same price are much better quality and sound much better. Granted, the other ones are also $30 speakers so it's not like they are incredible, but they are better than the Logitech Z213. Before doing my sound test, just the feel of them screamed that the Creative A250 was better quality, but how they sound counts the most so I plugged them in right beside each other and used the same song with the speakers plugged into the same iPhone to compare the sound—you know, cutting out all the variables ... cause I'm a little psycho I guess—and the Creative A250 was clearly better (better meaning fuller and louder). So if you're going to spend $30 on a little 2.1 speaker system, I'd recommend the Creative A250 over this one. There's prob better ones out there too, but in comparing just these two the Creative A250 is hands down better. Hope that helps.
