I rarely leave negative reviews for products, but in this case I feel I have no choice. After two months of use, the sprinkler broke at the base. Both the arm of the sprinkler and the plastic tightener that holds it in place broke in the process of putting the sprinkler into the ground with the foot spike with very little force on it. Pretty disappointing. I reached out to the seller/manufacturer (Orbit) and they told me it was not covered under warranty. I enjoyed the sprinkler for the two months that it worked before breaking, which is why the sprinkler gets more than one star despite it's eventual demise. It spreads the water around evenly about 35 ft around (not quite the 50 ft advertised) and at a nice height, which is above most of the plants in my vegetable garden. I would get another high-arm sprinkler again but next time I will try to find a more well-made product that won't break so easily. I think the fact that several of the parts are made of plastic (including the ring at the bottom) is a big negative. If all the pieces were made from metal I feel it would last a lot longer.
