Buy with caution - I ended up with a $200 vet visit
Since there were no weight limits listed on the package, I assumed these would be ok for my 10lb Miniature Pinscher. Because they're rawhide free, advertised as easy to digest, and because of the great reviews, I bought 3 packs on Amazon Prime day. I gave one to each of my pups (10lb, 60lb, 125lb) and the next morning (Friday) I noticed that my MinPin seemed to be trying to poop but nothing was coming out. I gave him some natural laxatives and even Miralax on the recommendation of my vet's office, but nothing helped. On Sunday I noticed the tiniest bit of blood in the little bit of diarrhea that came out. I took him to the vet first thing Monday morning. $200 later and he had some prescription meds and I had a lecture from the vet about buying treats off Amazon that aren't made in the US. This could have been a really expensive mistake or worse. I'll be much more careful in the future.
Shame on me for choosing a cheap alternative. I'll be buying Earth Animal No-Hide rawhide free chews (https://www.amazon.com/Packages-Earth-Animal-No-Hide-Chews/dp/B01M0XTSHK) from now on. They're sold by my local natural pet food store, made in the US, and I've never had a problem with them. They're super expensive, but I could have bought a lot of them for $200.
Amazon did refund me for all 3 packages of SmartSticks, and I promptly threw them away.
