I should have just gone to Home Depot or Target. The ad says this is a tension pole with springs in it, which is true. What it doesn't say is that the pieces are not adjustable. One is expected to measure the height of the tub, and then cut the metal tubes to size. Shucks, I'll run to the kitchen right now to get that hacksaw I've been saving for years, just in case I might need it someday to cut tubes for a poorly designed set of shower shelves. Really-doesn't everyone who lives in the middle of the city have a hacksaw? I have purchased similar products before.It has been a matter of straightforward assembly, adjusting the tension of the poles, and voila! In ten minute or less, one has a set of funtional shower shelves. Why it should be this difficult is beyond me.
