Good Plot, Non-existent Editing
Frankly, I am shocked at all of the 4- and 5-star ratings. Doesn't anyone care about the quality of the editing and grammar? If this book had not been riddled with bad spelling, missing words, and questionable grammar, I would have given it a 4, or even a 5 based on the interesting plot and action. I purchased this book on the strength of the reviews and the awards that were listed which makes encountering all of the sloppy errors even more confusing. Typically, more reviewers would have pointed the inconsistencies out and I would not have made the purchase.
In any event, if you are a fan of a well-plotted thriller with a unique premise and solid action, then this book is worth the 99 cents(If you can tolerate all of the aforementioned issues). My advice to this author would be to charge $1.99 next time and hire a professional to catch all of the errors before putting it out there for public consumption.
