Even though the cuff fits all the way around my arm, the velcro doesn't go the length of the cuff, so it can't close to be used on the upper arm. So, I have been forced to use it on my forearm. I suspected the readings were significantly higher, and now for two weeks in a row I have gone to a doctor's office to have my blood pressure checked there. Sure enough, at the doctor's office, it measures normal (as in 121/68). At home using this device, it measured 157/96 today! It scares me to think that had I not trusted my gut and gone to the doctor to double check, the doctor may have increased my blood pressure medication based upon these inaccurate daily home measurements. And now I am stuck with this machine because the return window has passed!
