★☆☆☆☆
Start process very flawed and watch actually broken - no continuous heart rate.
I have edited this review further down, was hoping to be able to give it more than one star, but in the end wasn't able to do so even though we did eventually get it to work (sort of)
Just got my "highly rated" Amazfit watch.
Go to load mandatory App and am told enter verification code.
Received verification code several minutes later and entered it immediately and was told verification code has expired.
Now can't sign into app at all even to enter a new verification code because I am told that account is already taken.
Impossible Catch 22 for that reason alone it is a expensive useless piece of junk.
Nice to know that my watch is so secure nobody will be able to use it, not even me.
Oh and 6:00 PM Friday here, told that Customer service doesn't open until Monday morning.
------- New Edited Portion Below ----------------
OK actually went back to phone later and it actually did complete account sign up and watch started working - sort of.
No heart rate (at all) and couldn't switch from kilometers to miles.
Could switch it in the app, but not on the watch and heart rate wouldn't work at all.
Finally got heart rate turned on on the watch and it worked - precisely once, then didn't.
Heart rate will not stay turned on - period.
And cannot get watch to switch from metric to miles and feet.
App is an abysmal mess and online Amazfit faqs are next to useless and don't even make clear whether adjustments are to be made on watch or phone app and reference items that are in neither.
I have had a FitBit and a Garmin Vivo all of which worked fine and were reasonable to set up.
The heart rate on this watch is actually broken and the setup instructions are non-existant to worthless and the app is a piece of garbage.
If the watch actually worked and they had a decent app and reasonable setup instructions this would be a great watch for the price.
It doesn't and they don't and as such it is a complete waste of money.
