Roasted 2 turkeys, baked one cake, roasted 3 chickens before the trouble began. Yes, the first few times I used it, I was pleased, although I did find that the temperature needs to be adjusted by about 15 - 30 degrees lower, since it seems to cook hotter than it should. Problem: Chipping...increasing with each use. I cooked a turkey twice, and can no longer use it as a turkey roaster. : ( I am using it as an oven for other meats and baked goods, by using a baking dish for the food item and placing it directly into the roasting pan of the Oster Roster Oven. One hint in regards to this: Use the metal baking rack between your roasting pan and your baking pan, or your pans will crack, break, or explode. I would not purchase this item again. It is too bad the manufacturer coated the steal pan. The lid is coated ont he outside and left alone on the inside. They could have done the same thing with the roasting pan and there would not have been any issues with chipping.
