I bought this to replace my Kindle fire 8. It is not the same! The Bluetooth does not connect, or reconnect, without multiple steps. The wifi does not auto connect. I have to sign into my Xfinity account over and over. The camera, and the light monitor, are on the side now. This means when you are reading, the reason I BUY a Kindle, it dims when you hold it. If I wanted a tablet for contacting ppl, I'd have bought one. I buy the Kindle to read, and sometimes watch TV. They should not call it a Kindle 8 if it's not the same.
