I had an entry-level variant brand bike with really bad brakes. I bought it online in the hopes no one would care about stealing it. Yesterday I decided to leave my bike locked up in an outdoor, fenced-in lot by our condo. As of this morning it is gone, with my Kryptonite lock laying on the ground defeated. This lock is no safer than any other; I had it chained through the front tire and body of the frame. I'm going to get a good U-lock next time. I would not suggest this heavy thing to anyone as it was also a pain to ride with.
