Buyer Beware! Even though the Amazon site will claim that these Avery Diamond Clear protectors are 8.5 inches by 11 inches these covers are not 8.5 inches wide. The width is short by about a 1/16 ( 3/32 to be exact, see measurement photos) of an inch which makes the paper wrinkle when you insert them into the cover. See the photo where at the bottom of the ptotector the paper folds. I bought these as covers for my drafting assignments and even my teacher was shocked that the pages got wrinkled. In the short term I solved the problem by buying the Office Depot protectors for $7 for 100 covers (It was on special). I returned these Avery covers to Amazon for a refund. My recommendation would be to buy Itoya Art Portfolio Polyglass Pages for Drafting and Art Assignments or Presentations.
