I worked in a silversmith shop for a number of years and so I know what a real silver looks and feels like. This coin looked and felt suspciously fake from the beginning. I therefore ran a simple test, a magnetic test, and sure enough it stuck to a magnet. Real silver is non-magnetic. From the image, you can see it dangling off a mag hook that I bought from Amazon.
