Review as of May, 17th 2020. So I charged this thing up directly in the sun for a day. I used my ultra bright flashlights on it... I'm not getting the 8-10 HOUR glow charge that they are touting in ALL of my testing - and I've had these for a bit of time now. Mine lasts 5-10 minutes if lucky... and not a "good" 5-10 minutes either. I experience an IMMEDIATE dimming of it within the first minute. You can literally watch it fade. At 5 minutes, it is extremely faint. 10 minutes is more of a "reach" than reality. You definitely cannot use it to see your way around in the dark. Maybe the company cut some product material "corners" since their last reviewers? I definitely overpaid for an underwhelming product... This product cannot be used or depended upon as advertised! Chem lights on the other hand are much more dependable and give off a MUCH more significant glow. This is probably why emergency crews will still reach for that chem light when there isn't a second chance during mission time. It is a good idea. I really wish it worked. But it doesn't... Boo.
