The foil/plastic seal on the container was fully sealed/intact. However, I peeled it back to discover the underside of the seal was a melted black, brown, orange crisp bubbly crust, and the powder had a strong smell of burned plastic. The powder looked fine (still perfectly white) and I didn't know what the product was supposed to smell like. It's also quite a big jug. So, like an idiot, I decided to just try it one night after a workout. I woke the next morning with what felt like the worst hangover I've ever had, no upset stomach, just a devestating headache and full body/joint pain/sorness/weakness like I've never experienced before. I called in sick to work and basically slept away that entire day. The next day I woke up feeling the same way and it lasted the entire day again, so I decided that I'd try sleeping another 12 hours or so and the next morning I would be going to the hospital (though I don't have insurance, and absolutely can't afford it.) Luckily on the third day it let up and was just a mild headache all day. I photographed the burned seal, told seller my story, asked if they had any past issues/complaints like mine. They denied any responsibility or having any previous knowledge. They refunded my $ and sent a coupon code to get another jug at a big discount. I figured it was a fluke and ordered a second time. I also bought another less cheap brand of the same stuff from another seller (kiss my keto), so now I know this stuff has almost no smell at all. Eventually, I received my second order from Zen Principal. Once again, the top was shrink-wrapped over the lid and seal underneath it looked fine/well adhered. I peeled it back, and much to my dismay, the underside was burnt crispy and the powder smelled like it had absorbed the fumes of melting plastic sealed in with it. I was less understanding this time. Two anomalies in a row? From a company that charges about half as much as the next cheapest seller on amazon? I contacted seller, I accused them of immoral business practices. Their response highlighted what I think must be a language barrier between us. Somehow, they respond with perfect English grammar, yet in an entire page of obscure denials, they failed to address my accusation. Maybe by now they have their manufacturing tolerances worked out and maybe they've already sold off their entire stock of contaminated/toxic product to schmoes like us. Regardless, I will be paying about twice as much in the future to buy from any company other then Zen Principal. That is my recommendation to you as well. Take care
