DO NOT Buy This! I was hesitant but because it was given pretty decent reviews, decided to try it. As many noted, it is light-weight (relatively speaking), the door VERY light but otherwise it looked good and, initially, worked well. It was in use in my 2-person household for 2 weeks and was used entirely for heating coffee, cooking vegetables, thawing frozen food...nothing big or exciting, no long cooking processes. I had cooked a couple potatoes, removed them and started to heat a vegetable dish when it began making a terribly loud noise and sounded like it was sparking in back. I stopped the unit and re-tried 2 more times with the same result. The last time my friend was watching and it actually was sparking heavily in back. Fortunately I had kept both the packaging from this one, "just in case" AND my 30 year old microwave (that still works, thank God) that this was supposed to replace. Back to Amazon it goes...YAY for Amazon's easy return policy!
