I don’t usually care for series although there are a few good ones out there, but I can’t recall one with such a horrible and incomplete ending. It’s really too bad because this story is good and well written (very close to getting 5 stars until the ending) – but to come to the awful non-ending, and then find that the teaser for the next book is just terribly depressing feels like punishment. Net result: There’s no way I’d read another book in this series, or by this author after being burned this badly. I feel cheated and resentful, so I won’t waste any more time on this review.
